If you do not file, there may be penalties, fees and\/or revocation by the governmental entities such as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Franchise Tax Board (FTB) and Attorney General\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Office of Charitable Trust (AG).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re here to help you meet those deadlines and file in a correct and timely manner.<\/p>\n<h2>WHAT ARE MY DEADLINES?<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/inacthouse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/960x0.jpg\" alt=\"Image result for pta tax\" width=\"264\" height=\"132\" align=\"right\" \/><\/h2>\n<p>Here\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s what to do:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check your bylaws to confirm your fiscal year-end. If you are still unsure, contact the Highlands Council or the Los Angeles 10th District. The majority of units\u00c2\u00a0have a fiscal year-end of June 30.<\/li>\n<li>Once you have your fiscal year end, check out this chart for your tax deadline:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table width=\"690\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>IF YOUR FISCAL YEAR-END IS<\/td>\n<td>\u00c2\u00a0YOU MUST FILE TAXES BY<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>February 28<\/td>\n<td>\u00c2\u00a0July 15<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>June 30<\/td>\n<td>\u00c2\u00a0November 15<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You must file the following forms no later than your tax deadline:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IRS Form 990 (990, 990EZ or 990N)<\/li>\n<li>California State Franchise Tax Board Form 199 (199 or 199N)<\/li>\n<li>Registration Renewal Form RRF-1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you require more time to file your taxes, you can complete the Form 8868 and mail to the IRS.
